I have never heard of one single power outage caused by metallic balloons yet suddenly they cause "hundreds" of outages each year that nobody I know has ever heard of either. I have heard of kites getting tangled in power lines and causing outages but I'll bet you won't see a ban on kites any time soon. I am growing weary of this Soviet Socialist State of California that we have here. I guess when you have the highest paid state representatives in the entire nation, you naturally create a system that incentivizes excessive law creation.

Because it isn't possible that a person strong enough to physically overcome a women would also be strong enough to forcibly remove the woman's pants. Come on!

Wow! I didn't know that there is a "cheerleader constitution". I guess that those who have tried out and didn't make it can now sue the school. Numbers 1 and 2 above would surely apply to those who didn't make it to the team. hehehe... nice one though.

This post has a sad update. Thornton walked into the city council meeting Thursday night and killed 5 people before killing himself: http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/02/08/city.council.shooting/?iref=mpstoryview
